BIO

Frankie Macaulay is a visual artist based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Combining photography and paper sculpture, the artist creates three dimensional artworks influenced by nature and architecture. 

Macaulay has exhibited in Eastern Canadian galleries and events such as Hermes Gallery, Craig Gallery, Pavia Gallery, Nocturne: Art at Night, Uncommon Common Art and the Nonesuch Art on Paper Awards.

Macaulay graduated with honours from NSCAD University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Photography, and was awarded two Ted Brown Photography Scholarships, the Reznick Student Creativity Award and the Arthur Lismer Award of Academic Excellence.
